Gerald L. Baliles

Gerald L. Baliles (born 1940) was the Governor of Virginia from 1986 to 1990. He and his family continued to be influential in the politics of Virginia for decades. He did not run for reelection, as Virginia governors are limited to a single term in office. He is a Democrat.
