George Athans
George Athans, Jr (born July 6, 1952) was a Canadian water-skier.
Born in Kelowna, British Columbia, Athans participated in his first world championship in 1967. He won two world titles in 1971 and 1973, and ten Canadian championships from 1965 to 1974.
Honours
- 1974 – made a Member of the Order of Canada.
- 1974 – inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame
- 1993 – indcuted into the International Hall of Fame of the International Water Ski Federation
