Sir Geoffrey Schomberg Arbuthnot, KCB (1942), DSO (1919), Legion of Honour. Born Havant, Hampshire 18 January 1885. Died 4 October 1957. Vice Admiral. Naval ADC to HM 1936, 4th Sea Lord of the Admiralty and Chief of Supplies and Transport 1937, C-in-C East Indies Station 1941, served in World War I (despatches). Married, 22 October 1913, (Jessie) Marguerite Henderson (died 3 August 1947), second daughter of William Henderson of Berkeley House, Frome, Somerset. One daughter, two sons.
