GeoQuest Systems

GeoQuest, a business unit of Schlumberger, supplies geoscience, engineering, drilling and data management software products and services in the exploration and production (E&P) industry.

GeoQuest software products integrate six major activities of E&P--interpretation and visualization, reservoir modeling and simulation, full reservoir characterization, mapping and modeling, data management, and drilling and production.

Established in 1984 as GeoQuest Systems, Inc. by five founders including Russell Herron and Jim Emmons.

GeoQuest became a subsidiary of Raytheon Corp.

GeoQuest was sold to the Schlumberger in 1993.

The company is now called Schlumberger Technology Corp.
