Gemstone File
The Gemstone File is a document often classified as a conspiracy theory.
First surfacing in the late 1960s in the San Francisco area, The Gemstone File is of uncertain authorship. The entire document is said to comprise over 1,000 pages.
The Gemstone File proposes that Aristotle Onassis, Joseph P. Kennedy, Howard Hughes and other prominent figures were involved in various schemes to forward a "global conspiracy of mindblowing proportions, involving the Mafia and corrupt politicians, brutal oil and drug cartels, rogue military operations, and more."
