GateWorld

Gateworld (also: Gateworld.net) is a popular reference to the Stargate series (including Stargate (the movie), Stargate: SG-1, and Stargate: Atlantis).

History

Gateworld was developed by Darren Sumner to be the community for the show Stargate SG-1 as other Science Fiction shows had. It was started on October 22, 1999 and has changed addresses and servers many times since then. Gateworld is the biggest Stargate community site on the web and today includes an Omnipedia, Forum, and articles as well as the large episode guide.
