Gag Reflex

Gag Reflex is a sketch comedy collective with ensembles near Chicago, Illinois and Austin, Texas. The Chicago group was started in early 1993; the Austin spin-off company in Fall, 2002. The groups’ performances consist of twenty-odd fully scripted pieces and the material runs the gamut from silly to cerebral. Original songs and song parody distinguish Gag Reflex in style from other sketch comedy groups, although their format follows the blackout style of sketch comedy popularized by The Second City and Saturday Night Live.
