Gae Bulg

In Celtic mythology, Gáe Bulg ("notched spear") was the spear of Cuchulainn, given to him by Aife. Gáe Bulg was notched to ensure it would do great damage when taken out of a body; it was made from the bone of a sea-monster that had died while fighting another sea monster.

Cuchulainn killed his son, Connla, and his close friend Ferdiad, with the spear. He perished after losing the spear, tossing it at a satirist.
