Gadgy

Gadgey A local Northumbrian term used interchangebly for Man or bloke. It has its epicenter in Morpeth a market town between the county town of Alnwick and the city of Newcastle . It has its root in the word gypsy which in turn has its origins in the word Egyption as it was wrongly assumed that Gypsy's were North Africa when there are actually Indo-Aryan.
