Galkayo

Gaalkacyo is the second largest city in Puntland, Somalia, with an estimated population of 190,000. It is located in southern Puntland, and remains one of the most developed cities in the region, after Boosaaso. The city has built schools, and planing to build a major Airport. Gaalkacyo is home to president Abdullahi Yusuf of former Puntland and now Soomaaliya.
