Fuel (band)

(Redirected from Fuel (Rock Band))

Fuel is an American alternative rock and heavy metal band. The band was formed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where, before gaining national acclaim, it played local Pennsylvania bars and nightclubs.

Known foremost for their single "Shimmer," Fuel is also known for their large tours. An alt-rock band in the same style as Creed, Fuel has released three full length albums: Sunburn (singles: Shimmer, Bittersweet, Jesus or a Gun), Something Like Human, and Natural Selection.

Fuel was forced to call off tour dates after an on-stage accident lead to lead singer Brett Scallion's nose being broken. Forced to have surgery, he had to relearn how to sing for the recording of Natural Selection.

After disagreements (both public and private), drummer Kevin Miller was dismissed from the band.
