The Fragrant Orchid (Gymnadnia conopsea) is a flower that has a scent similar to cloves. It has a distinctive three lobed lip and long spurs, similar to Aquilegia. The leaves are lanceolate and narrow.

Its habitat includes lime, grassland, and fens throughout northern Europe. It flowers in the summer, from June to July.
