Innovative thrash metal band from Glasgow, Scotland, Fractal Jack are known for their brutally heavy yet humourous riffing. Regular gigs and tours keep their legions of fans up to date with The Jack's latest offerings and occasionally fans get a little icing for their cake in the form of support from the likes of Swedish thrash-rockers Entombed.

Fractal Jack are a product, for the main part, of the fabled "Stirling talent pool". Stirling region having also produced such (in)famous metal bands as The Brown Obstacle, The Feds, The Awakening and Herpes.

The band's line-up has been through a few changes over the years but appears to have stabilised with the addition of drummer Andy Brown. The addition of Brown has allowed Fractal Jack to explore faster and heavier territory. The current roll call is:
