Font

A font can mean:

• A member of a typeface family.
  • A digital font is a file format that encapsulates a typeface family in a database. Common formats include TrueType, PostScript, Type 1, Type 2, SVG
• A container for holy water, forming an item of church furniture or architecture, and used in blessings and baptisms. A large font is typically found in a baptistery, an area in the church set aside for baptisms. A smaller font set by the entrance of a Roman Catholic church for worshippers to bless themselves upon entering is sometimes called a stoup.
