Folk catholicism

Folk catholicism are varieties of catholicism deviating from official Roman Catholic Church doctrine. They are sometimes associated with syncretism, particularly voodoo and santeria. Varieties of folk catholicism are widely practiced in Latin America, Haiti, and the Philippines.
