Diisopropyl fluorophosphate

Diisopropyl fluorophosphate is an organophosphorus compound that acts as an irreversible cholinesterase inhibitor. As such, it displays parasympathomimetic efects. The compound is also known as fluostigmine or Dyflos.

Clinical uses

Fluostigmine is used as ocular drops in the treatment of chronic glaucoma.
