Flick of the Switch is an album by Australian band AC/DC, recorded shortly after their European Tour at the beginning of 1983. After problems with other members of the band, drummer Phil Rudd was forced to leave mid way through the recording sessions. He was eventually replaced and the remainder of the album was finished with Simon Wright playing drums. Rudd eventually returned to the band in 1994. The album was released in the United States on August 15 1983 (see 1983 in music). Flick of The Switch was generally regarded at the time as a disappointment by fans.
