Flag of Alberta

The flag of Alberta, Canada is simply a blue banner with the shield of the Coat of Arms of Alberta at its centre. It was adopted in 1968.

Compare Manitoba and Ontario, which fly Red Ensigns with their shields of arms; Yukon and the Northwest Territories, which fly different flags featuring their shields; and British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, which fly banners of their arms; and Quebec and Nunavut which have a distinct designs, separate from their coats of arms.
