Final Fantasy 3 for the Nintendo Family Computer, often referred to as Final Fantasy 3j, as it was never released in America, thus disrupting the number sequence. This game stars, at the beginning, the Onion Knights. This game was also where the trademark Final Fantasy job system originated. It has been unofficially translated into English through emulation, and will soon be released for Nintendo's upcoming system, the Nintendo DS.
Final Fantasy 3 is the American number for Final Fantasy 6. This game stars Terra Branford.
