Final Solutions
The Final Solutions is a punk band based out of Memphis, Tennessee. The band has played shows prolifically throughout the South since the early 2000s, and just released its debut album "Disco Eraser" off the Misprint record label, based in Nashville.
Most of the band members met while attending Rhodes College in the late 1990s, where they played together in different musical permutations. The most notable of these early bands was The Squirrels, which recorded the well-received underground album "Retard Rock" and featured the cult classic "Soccer Girl."
The name of the band is taken from a song by punk pioneers Pere Ubu, and has nothing to do with the Final Solution implemented by the Nazis at the end of World War II.
