Fifth Gear
Fifth Gear (formerly 5th Gear) is a motoring magazine shown on British TV channel five (formerly Channel 5).
Fifth Gear is a clone of the popular BBC show Top Gear, which began in 1977. When Top Gear (in it original format) was axed from the BBC schedule in 2001 many of it regular presenters defected to make Fifth Gear. Channel 5 wanted to buy the Top Gear name from the BBC, but the latter refused. The show first aired in 2002.
The current presenters of Fifth Gear are Vicki Butler-Henderson, Tiff Needell, Quentin Willson and Tom Ford.
