Fiat Panda (2003)
The Fiat Panda was a 2003 rejuvenation of Fiat's 1980 older car of the same name, the Fiat Panda.
Released as the newest car in their smallest size range, the Panda replaced the Fiat Seicento, and also finally took the old Panda off the market in Italy, the companies home country and the sole location where the old Panda was still offered.
It sells well in Italy, being seen as closer to a spiritual sucessor to the Fiat 500 than a replacement for either the Seicento or the old Panda.
The car is offered with a choice of two petrol engines, one Diesel MultiJet engine, and three interior fit out levels. A 4x4 version is also offered.
The two lower interior specification levels offer little more than plastic fittings, but a CD player and electric windows are standard across the range.
