Faaborg municipal
Faaborg municipal, a municipal in central Denmark, in the county of Funen.
The municipality covers an area of 227 km², and has a total population of 17,325 (2005). Main city and site of municipal council, is Faaborg.
By January 1, 2007 Faaborg municipal will cease to exists as it will combined with Broby, Ryslinge, Aarslev and Ringe municipality to form a new Faaborg-Midtfyns municipal.
