FaSinPat
FaSinPat it's an argetinian worker-controlled tiles ceramics factory. The name comes from "Fabrica Sin Patrón" that means "Factory Without Owners/Managers" in spanish.
It's former name was Zanon, founded by Luigi Zanon while the dictatorship gouvernment. In the innagural parade, Luigi Zanon congragulates the military gouvernment "for keeping Argentina safe for invertions" with an obvious allegory of the dirty war. While the 90' decade, Zanon has grown because of loans of the national and provincial Gouvernments, Luigi was a very good friend of both, the former President Carlos Menem and the actual Gouvernor of the Nuequén Province Jorge Sobich.
In 2001, Zanon has fired almost half his 300 workers, and in a desperate atempt to keep their jobs, workers take control of the factory. That was not so fighted by luigi in the beginings because his first plan was to breakout the brand. But after december 2001 pesification the buisness was much more interesant so he tryied with legal actions, gouvernment pressure and all the ways to force the gouvernment to an eviction of all the workers.
