FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship

The FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship is a world championship football tournament, organized by FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), for national teams of women under age 19.

The first edition, hosted by Canada in 2002, was won on a golden goal by the USA over the hosts.

Germany, whose senior side is the current World Cup holders, won the 2004 event in Thailand.

In both events, the Golden Boot winner was a Canadian—Christine Sinclair in 2002 and Brittany Timko in 2004.
