Swedbank

Swedbank, or FöreningsSparbanken, is a Swedish bank. It is the result of the merger of Swedbank (Sparbankernas Bank) and 11 regional savings banks in 1992. In 1994 it also merged with Föreningsbanken. It has a close cooperation with about 80 local savings banks.
Hansa Bank, owned by Swedbank, is one of the dominant actors on the banking market in the Baltic states.
