Exclamation

An exclamation or exclamatory sentence is an excited utterance, see interjection, ejaculation (grammar). The term can also refer to an exclamation mark.
In criminal law, they are considered to be a statement against penal interest. As such, they are not excluded by rules which prohibit hearsay.
