European Russia

European Russia can be considered the western areas of Russia, where most of the population is centred. Traditionally the border of Europe is the Ural mountains, but this definition of the geography of Europe is a subject of debate.

Being the big country it is, Russia's majority of land is based in Siberia, which is a part of Asia, althought the majority of population lies in western Russia. These areas include Moscow and St. Petersburg, the two most well known areas of Russia.
