Esk Pike, by some listings the eleventh highest mountain in the Lake District, is a close neighbour of the higher Bowfell, and is often climbed with it. It stands at the head of the Eskdale valley, and can be climbed from Eskdale, Wasdale, Langdale or Borrowdale.
Nearby is the hause of Esk Hause, which connects the Scafell, Bowfell and Glaramara groups and the four valleys mentioned above.
