Eruption is a song by Van Halen off their self-titled album (1978). The song is considered one of the greatest instrumentals of all time, and is on many Top 100 Guitar Solos Lists (Eddie Van Halen).

It is 1 minute and 42 seconds of pure electric guitar. To call it just influental might be an understatement.
