Eric Schomburg

Eric Schomburg (born August 28 1980) is an American author best known for his horror novels. Eric's books range from the independent publishers, but his vision has been talked about literally all over the world. One person said that Eric was "chillingly captivating."


Biography

Eric Schomburg was born in West Portsmouth, Ohio. When Eric was very young he stirred away from the outdoors and sports and focused more on television and movies, preferably cartoons such as G.I. Joe, Transformers, Batman, and X-Men, and horror movies such as Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

In 1994, Eric was diagnosed with cancer and a tumor was found on his left arm. Thankfully, the cancer was removed as well as the tumor.

By 1996, Eric wrote his first short-story title The Ghost. The story consisted of a mafia hitman who was double-crossed by his then girlfriend and a police sergent, and comes back to life for revenge.

In 2000, Eric graduated from Portsmouth West High School with two certifications in the Honor's Club for both 1999 and 2000. That same year he enrolled at Shawnee State University where he majors in Psychology. By 2002, Eric wrote his first novel, One of a Kind, in which a teenage boy named Franklin possessed the powers of the natural elements, and then uses them for evil purposes. During the Spring of 2004 Eric made the Dean's list with an outstanding 3.93 GPA. That same year, Eric published An Apocalyptic Dream, a story about a post-apocalyptic America which is being run by robots and a cyborg tyrant known as The Innovator.

On December 29, 2004, Eric became "Columnist of the Year" for Useless-Knowledge, a news column for the internet. It was the 1st annual columnist of the year, and the 1st year that Eric was a part of the news group.

Controversy

Eric has been well-known for his controversy battles with people such as the Florida lawyer, Jack Thompson and the spokesman of feminist actions, Diana Russell. He's fought for pornographic rights and even did a term paper on how pornography doesn't lead to rape. He also fights against censorship in video games, especially video games like Grand Theft Auto, which happens to be Eric's favorite video game.

Eric actually sent a letter to Jack Thompson claiming that Mr. Thompson was An incompetent old fart that only cares about money.

Eric's novel An Apocalyptic Dream was so controversial that even his local preacher refused to read it because of the content in the book.
