Eric Fletcher, Baron Fletcher
Eric George Molyneux Fletcher, Baron Fletcher (1904?-9 June 1990) was a British Labour politician.
Fletcher was the son of a former town clerk of Islington. He studied at the University of London and became a solicitor, specialising in international law. He was deputy chairman of the Associated British Picture Corporation.
Fletcher was elected onto the London County Council for Islington South. He became Islington East's Member of Parliament at the 1945 general election and became minister without portfolio and then Deputy Speaker.
In July 1970 Fletcher was made a life peer as Baron Fletcher of Islington in Greater London.
