Eon AG

Eon AG is an energy provider based in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Eon was created by merging Veba and Viag corporations in 2000; it owns a number of electrical utility companies and power plants (including six nuclear power plants), and has a dominant position in the German natural gas market. The company has annual revenues of 46.3 billion euros and 66,500 employees (2003).
