Entourage is an original comedy series on HBO. The show chronicles the rise of a hot young movie star named Vincent Chase and his childhood friends from Queens as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Hollywood. Vince's entourage consists of: Eric, his closest friend who acts as his manager; Johnny "Drama" Chase, his older brother, an avid cook and a struggling actor in his own right; and Turtle, who is simply living the high life riding Vince's coattails and serves as a gofer. Other characters in the series are Ari, Vince's high-powered agent; Shauna, his long-suffering publicist; and Emily, Ari's personal assistant and Eric's love interest.
The show appears to have captured the interest of Hollywood, and has been renewed for a second season. Executive producer Mark Wahlberg had a cameo in the first episode, and other Hollywood stars, including Jessica Alba, Jimmy Kimmel, Luke Wilson, Gary Busey, David Faustino, Larry David, Scarlett Johansson, Sara Foster, and Sarah Silverman lent their star power to the show, playing themselves.
On July 19, 2004, HBO renewed the comedy series for a second season of 14 episodes, set to premiere on June 5, 2005

Characters
Vincent Chase
(Adrian Grenier) is a young Hollywood movie star who made it big with his film Head On, a fictional film which starred real life celebrity Jessica Alba. "Vince" as he is known by his friends is living the life people dream about, he has a beautiful $1,000,000 home, any girl he wants at his beck and call, great friends and ultimately a great life. However Vince's life is constantly altered by the choices he makes including having Ari Gold as his agent and a business manager that whines about his expenses. Vince though does not really mind and decides to just have a good time and that his friends should be in on the ride too.
Eric
(Kevin Connoly) is Vince's manager and best friend. Eric is a very independent person trying to live out his own life by keeping touch and constantly getting hurt by ex-girlfriend, Kristen. Then however a new relationship blossoms when Vince's manager Ari hires a new, beautiful assistant named Emily who is very sweet to the boys especially Eric. Soon though, Eric is drawn back to Kristen and soon calls off the relationship with Emily.
Johnny "Drama" Chase
(Kevin Dillon) is Vince's older step brother. Drama, like his brother is an actor who basically lives off his younger brother. His one hit was on the show, Viking Quest where he had a starring role but recently he has had minor roles and has been forgotten. This worries him and pledges to himself and his friends that he will be someone again. Gradually he learns that success takes time and not to worry because everyone has their chance at stardom.
Turtle
(Jerry Ferrara) is Vince's friend from Queens. Turtle is the gofer of the group, whatever Eric asks him to do is what his job description states. Turtle basically lives off of Vince as do the rest of Vince's entourage. Turtle has a great personality and has a thing for the ladies even though being short and having the stature of a turtle, which is how he gained his nickname. Turtle is not worried about much either because he has everything he needs as long as Vince keeps making movies, he will still be living the "good" life.
Ari Gold
(Jeremy Piven) is Vince's superagent. Ari Gold is a complex person, he is extremely controlling and complicated and always gets what he wants (which proves out to be both beneficial and unbeneficial [i.e. his infidelity]). Unlike Vince's entourage, Ari is married with children and enjoys controlling Eric although he does not tolerate Ari's behavior. It seems that Ari's only weakness is that he has a wife who is just as or more demanding as he is.
