Ena, Gifu

Ena (恵那市; -shi) is a city located in Gifu, Japan.
As of December 1, 2004, the city has an estimated population of 57,731 and a density of 114 persons per km². The total area is 504.19 km².
The city was founded on April 1, 1954.
On October 25, 2004, four towns and a village from the former Ena District merged into the city. The municipalities participating in this merger were: Akechi, Iwamura, Kamiyahagi, Kushihara, and Yamaoka.
