Em-u Systems

E-mu Systems is a company based in Scotts Valley, California about 50 miles south of San Francisco on the outskirts of Silicon Valley. They are the oldest manufacturer of synthesizers and electronic musical instruments still in existence with over 30 years of experience in the industry.

In March 1993, E-mu Systems was acquired by Creative Technology of Singapore and is now a wholly owned subsidiary.

E-mu Systems produced a series of ground breaking instruments in the 1980s, the most famous being the Emulator digital sampler family.
