Elaida a'Roihan

Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan is a character in the Wheel of Time fantasy series by Robert Jordan.

Elaida is the current Amyrlin Seat in the White Tower. A member of the Red Ajah, Elaida served as advisor to Morgase Trakand prior to assuming her current position. She takes over from the stilled Siuan Sanche. Elaida is noted for her iron fist, and for seeing the Blue Ajah removed from representation in the Tower. Her Keeper is Alviarin Freidhen, a White, but also a member of the Black Ajah. It is Alviarin who, in fact, controls the White Tower.
