Ejby municipal

Ejby municipal, a municipal in central Denmark, in the county of Funen.

Formed in 1970 from the following parishes;

• Balslev Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Brenderup Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Ejby Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Fjelsted Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Gelsted Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Harndrup Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Husby Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Ingslev Sogn (Vends Herred)
• Tanderup Sogn (Båg Herred)
• Ørslev Sogn (Vends Herred)

The municipal covers an area of 163 km², and has a total population of 10,046 (2205). Site of municipal council is Ejby.

By January 1, 2007 Ejby municipal will cease to exists as it will combined with Middelfart and Nørre Aaby municipality to form a new Ny Middelfart municipal.
