E. A. Sothern
Edward Askew Sothern (1826 – 1881) was an American actor known for his comic roles.
His most well-known role was that of Lord Dundreary in Tom Taylor's play Our American Cousin. The long sideburns he wore as the character started a fad on both sides of the Atlantic and they were known as "Picadilly Weepers" or "Dundrearies".
