Electronic sports
The overall term for computer games as a sport is Electronic Sports, or eSports. Electronic Sports includes amateur and professional players, the latter being the most advanced and thus considered eSports athletes.
Players organize themselves in clans to compete in official computer gaming tournaments and leagues.
