Zowie Bowie
Duncan Zowie Heywood Jones, also known as Zowie Bowie or Joey Bowie, was the first son of David Bowie, born to his wife Angie on May 30, 1971. His name is most popularly Zowie Bowie, however, his father David Bowie, who had chosen the name lightheartedly, gave him the choice to change his name in the future. Zowie Bowie's birth prompted David to write the song Kooks for his 1971 album Hunky Dory. In 1980, when David divorced Angie, he took custody of nine-year-old Zowie.
Since, Jones has taken part as the best man at his father's wedding to Iman Abdulmajid. He was also one of many camera men at David Bowie's widely televised 50th Birthday party at Madison Square Garden.
Currently he is studying at a film school in the United Kingdom.
