Dublin Dr Pepper

Dublin Dr Pepper is the name of Dr Pepper that uses cane sugar for a sweetener as opposed to corn syrup. In the 1980s, many soft drink bottlers began using corn syrup over cane sugar because of a rise in the price of sugar. A Dr Pepper bottling plant in Dublin, Texas became the only facility in the United States to continue using cane sugar as a sweetener. Dublin Dr Pepper can be purchased in many parts of Central Texas, and over the Internet.
