Don Barksdale

Donald Angelo "Don" Barksdale (b. March 31, 1923 in Oakland, California – d. March 8, 1993) was a pro basketball player. In 1948 he was the first African-American to play with the US Olympic team. In 1953 he became the first African-American to appear in an NBA Allstar Game.
