Disco Inferno
Disco Inferno was a British band from the 1990s signed to Rough Trade. Their frontman was Ian Crause. The In Debt album collects together their first EPs, in which the influence of Joy Division is noticeable. Later albums Go Pop and Technicolour (album) make discordant pop songs out of sampled sounds like breaking glass.
The band was loved by music journalists more than the buying public, and split acrimoniously in 1996.
