Disco Bloodbath
Disco Bloodbath: A Fabulous But True Tale of Murder in Clubland is a 1999 novel written by James St. James about the life of Michael Alig and his Club Kids of the New York City club scene. The book specifically chronicles Alig's rise and fall from fame. St. James was Alig's mentor in the scene, giving him a very personal view into the story, which comes through in the book. The novel was later renamed Party Monster after the motion picture was made based on the book starring Macaulay Caulkin, Seth Green, and Chloƫ Sevigny.
