Dirk Meyer
Dirk Meyer was Co-architect of the DEC Alpha 21064 and 21264 microprocessors. Also worked at Intel in its microprocessor design group.
Joined AMD in 1996, and personally led the team that designed and developed the AMD Athlon processor.
Meyer received a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's in business administration from Boston University.
