Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission

The Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission (DGT), located in Brussels and Luxembourg, provides translation of written text into and out of the European Union's twenty official languages. With an annual output of about 1.4 million pages, it is the largest translation service in the world, employing some 1650 linguists.
