Dipat

The ancient spirtual dance of the region of Trapezounta in Pontos. This dance is also know by many as Omal-Trapezountas. The is a very unique dance in the fact that the name of the dance means Di-2 Pat-step (2 step), but in reality the dance has an unusual movement involving more that 2 steps, however the 2 step the dance name referes to are the only step which move the dance stightly to the right. This dance is also dances for long periods of time preluding tik and has many diffrent melodies and songs to the same beat.
