Dina Powell
Dina Powell (nee Habib) was born in Cairo, Egypt and was raised in Dallas, Texas. She is married to public affairs executive Richard Powell, who works for Quinn, Gillispie. Dina worked her way through the University of Texas by working as a full-time legislative assistant to a state senator. After graduation, she took an internship with Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Tex.), intending to go on to law school. Instead of attending law school, she moved over to work in the office of fellow Texan Dick Armey, who was then the House majority leader.
