Deutschnofen-Nova Ponente
Deutschnofen (German) – Nova Ponente (Italian) is a village in South Tyrol, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.
Deutschnofen comprises also the boroughs of Rauth-Novale and Obereggen. There is a church and several cafes and hotels. Almost all people in Nova Ponente speak German; some of them speak Ladin or Italian.
On 5 km, there is the way A22 and on 1 km, there is a river. Nova Ponente lies on 7 km of the frontier with Trento.
Obereggen
The main street in Obereggen is the Obereggen. This is nearly the only paved road of the centre of Obereggen. There are 900 German-speaking inhabitants. It is on the foot of the Latemar. Another mountain is the Schmieder (hamlet of Zapf). There are minimum three hotels in this borough, and a network of walk- and mountainbikepaths on the side of the Latemar. There are two cable-railways and a ski lift.
San Floriano
San Floriano is between the hamlet of Zapf and the centre of Obereggen. There are no hotels or shops. You find in San Floriano farms and pensions. There is also a chapel (for the saint of San Florian, this is the only chapel of Obereggen), and one paved road, other roads are a few unpaved paths.
